Speaking Exams normally come in two parts: conversation & role play. Role PlayThe Role play part of the speaking exam may last around 5 minutes. You may have to complete two role plays with your teacher. They may be recorded on cassette. ConversationMost GCSE speaking exams include a conversation which can last from around 5 to 15 minutes. You may have to speak to your teacher, to an examiner or onto a cassette. The conversation is an opportunity for you to show off your speaking skills!
