Getting and Recording ResultsTHIS IS LEGACY MATERIAL - the science is correct but the marks no longer apply! Up to 8 marks are available for obtaining results from your practical investigation. As with the other 3 areas of assessment, the criteria you have to meet are hierarchical - you must achieve the lower marks before you can be awarded marks higher up. The Obtaining CriteriaThe table below indicates the criteria your work will be marked against. Failing to include your results with your practical report would mean that you could not score 0.2a, and as a result would score zero for obtaining.
Writing UpGetting good marks is all a matter of being careful what you do and how you write it up. Most of the marks for obtaining come from recording your results properly in a table. Let's look at what would be enough to score each stage of marks. |
